Hulme
Inner-city grit meets creative energy — Hulme Arch and beyond
Overall
Hulme has come a long way from the notorious Crescents estates of the 1970s. Today it's a diverse, creative area popular with students, artists and young professionals. The Hulme Arch bridge is an architectural landmark, and the area benefits from being sandwiched between the city centre and Moss Side. Still rough in places, but authentic.
